ABOUT ME

I possess strong working knowledge in Java, Spring and REST APIs. As a self-taught developer my recent achievement was the completion of the MayViolationBa App for MMDA. In two (2) months I finished the design, development and testing of the app, and on the 3rd month, I deployed it to AWS. I did both the front and back end.

I have been coding personal projects for 3+ years now since January 2018. I started with the Back end ( Java, Spring Framework/Boot/ MVC, Hibernate, MySQL ) and then the Front end ( HTML, CSS ,Javascript, Angular ), likewise other technologies such as Junit, REST API, Git, Github and finally AWS.

I was a Wedding Photographer and my work was on weekends. Since I am free on weekdays, I would practice coding 4-5 hours each day.

I used to be a COBOL-CICS programmer in a bank and insurance company for a total of 3+ years, with that background it has helped me to easily transition back to programming.

I am a fast learner, problem solver, critical thinker, resourceful and a team player. With these abilities I could get the job done.
